A Swimming Pool Shaft seal is inexpensive but critical in preventing water from causing damage to the motor. Replace your Pool Pump Sta-Rite DuraGlas II Max-E-Glas II OS Shaft Seal whenever you replace the motor, or your pool pump is leaking down the back side of the seal plate, and onto the ground below.
