D.E. filters remove particles measured in microns that are individually undetected by the human eye, but combine to reduce water clarity. Pentair 2000 Series™ stainless steel D.E. filters not only filter better, they make your life easier. That’s because they feature curved grids to maximize filter surface area, and more filter area means longer periods between cleaning. In addition, a refined internal design minimizes flow restrictions so that the least amount of pumping power produces the maximum required flow rates—for lower utility costs. Model SM Stainless steel tank, 2 in. x 2 in. x 1 1/2 in. threaded brass casting without backwash valve. Model SMBW Stainless steel tank, 2 in. X 2 in. X 2 in. threaded brass casting with integral Noryl rotary backwash valve.
