»» Description:

The GLB Filter Cleanse Filter Cleaner is a multi-purpose granular formula that cleans and unclogs filters of oils, grease and scale with a combination of acids and detergents. GLB Filter Cleanse has a unique chemistry build that will gradually change from red to yellow as it cleans.

Dosing: Use the GLB Filter Cleanse routinely once every month or two during season to maintain efficient operation.

  Easy Instructions

  - Cartridge Filters and Removable DE Filter Grids

  o Remove element and place in plastic container

  o Cover element with Filter Cleanse solution (1lb per 5 gal of water)

  o Allow to soak at least 4 hours, preferably overnight

  o Remove element, rinse thoroughly and replace in filter

  - Sand Filters and Non-Removable Elements

  o Backwash then drain. Close drain valve.

  o Prepare Filter Cleanse solution (1lb per 5 gal of water)

  o Add sufficient solution to cover sand (see instructions on label)

  o Allow to soak overnight – at least 12 hours

  o Backwash until water runs clear

  o Return to normal operation
