The Hayward SP1080 Series Skimmer Basket is a genuine Hayward replacement part. The basket is 6-15/16” at top OD, 6-1/2” at bottom OD, and 5” high. The SPX1082CA basket features a rigid bar handle for easy removal and cleaning. Having the proper basket in your skimmer allows for your skimmer to work at the intended flow-rate and efficiency it was designed to. You should always keep your skimmer basket installed to eliminate the amount of debris that passes through to your pump.
