Description
The S601P SmartPool SunHeater model is designed for In-Ground Pool installation. The SunHeater System is designed to be a simple, do-it-yourself installation and can be installed on the ground, roof, rack or fence. The system, when properly sized, can raise your pool water 6-10° F, though the actual temperature increase will vary depending on the weather conditions and exposure to the sun. The system uses your existing pool pump to minimize the cost of additional equipment. By using your existing pool pump water is automatically pumped through the solar collectors, heated by the sun as it moves through the collectors, and then the now heated water is returned back to the pool. The tubes and web design of the panels are designed to trap heat and catches light as the sun moves across the sky. The tough polypropylene materials will not rust, corrode or scale; plus the collectors are reversible.
